Since 2022, we've been bringing joy, colour, and magic to events and celebrations. At Balloon Deck, we're more than just a balloon business – we're creators of beautiful moments. From birthdays, engagements, bridal showers, special milestones and everything in between, we specialise in transforming ordinary spaces into extraordinary experiences.

Michella is the face and balloon artist behind Balloon Deck, and has taken this opportunity to channel her creative side through memorable events. 

With a corporate background, creating balloon garland installations is her new found hobby turned small business. With her Filipino heritage, Michella is passionate about hosting and planning events. She cherishes quality time with her family and friends.

An escape to the fun and colourful side of her personality, meeting new people, networking with other suppliers and putting smiles on peoples faces is what it's all about. Michella pour's her heart into every project, ensuring that each event set up and balloon installation leaves a lasting impression on you and your guests. 

But it's not just about the balloons – it's about the smiles they bring and creating beautiful memories!

"We all have to start somewhere! Here’s my journey from THEN to NOW!

The first photo captures my very first balloon garland, a DIY kit I assembled during lockdown to celebrate my partner’s 30th birthday. The second photo is from my nephew’s 1st birthday. I’ve transitioned from crafting balloon garlands in my living room to creating beautiful displays for events.

In 2022, I began making balloon garlands for family and friends’ parties, offering my services to practice. I immersed myself in tutorials, drew inspiration from Pinterest, and experimented with various techniques, colours, sizes, and brands.

Initially, a small garland would take me over three hours, using string to tie the balloons together. I often ended up with gaps and I only used standard-sized balloons.

Fast forward to 2024: I can now create a standard six-metre garlands in just 1.5 hours! I've learnt the value of high-quality balloons and the impact of using different sizes to achieve a beautiful design. I think I’m finally mastering mini clusters with 30cm balloons and discovered techniques that enhance my garlands.

I’ve only recently incorporated orb balloons and florals for the first time, and I’ve learnt that 260s are my best friend.

While I may not have bookings every weekend, I’m proud to have launched my small business and connect with wonderful people along the way. I’ve had the chance to craft beautiful balloon garlands that bring joy to so many.
