Welcome to Balloon Deck, we’re a small business located in Melbourne’s West!

Since 2020, we've been bringing joy, colour, and magic to events and celebrations. At Balloon Deck, we're more than just a balloon business – we're creators of beautiful moments. From birthdays, engagements, baby showers, bridal showers, special milestones and everything in between, we specialise in transforming ordinary spaces into extraordinary experiences.

From concept to completion, we're with you every step of the way, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and our goal is to exceed your expectations.

Michella is the face and balloon artist behind Balloon Deck, where she brings her colourful ideas to life and makes every event unforgettable.

After spending years in the corporate world, she discovered a new passion - turning event styling and decorating from a fun hobby into a small business.

With her Filipino background, Michella has always loved hosting and planning memorable parties and gathering for her family and friends. She treasures quality time with loved ones, ensuring every gathering with warmth, joy, and a touch of sparkle.

Balloon Deck is her playful outlet, a way to show the fun, vibrant side of her personality. Meeting new people, collaborating with other talented vendors, and putting smiles on faces is what motivates and encourages her.

More than just decorations, Balloon Deck is about creating colourful, joyful moments that leave a lasting impression, and creating spaces that are post worthy.

The Balloon Deck Family also includes other family members, such as Michella’s partner, whom she calls her “personal step ladder” and who is the business prop maker, problem-solver and quality control. He has a cabinet-making background and has a wide experience working on luxury homes and uniquely styled interiors, including integrated high end appliances and technology, private underground carparks/basement retreats, custom styled home offices, designer walk in wardrobes and even handcrafted furniture. He designs and builds the custom props for the business. He also assists where required with on-site setups, ensuring installations are safe, compliant with venue requirements, and easy to transport and assemble.

Michella’s two sisters, her mother and close friends have contributed behind the scenes and also assist as part of the day-of crew for larger parties and events. Michella affectionately calls them her “Sparkle Specialists, Creative Collaborators and Brainstorm Buddies”, as they bring energy, fun, and friendly face-to-face customer service while interacting with the customers, venue staff, and other vendors.  With her sisters extensive experience in customer service and events, including wedding planning and coordinating, they bring a strong background in management and organisation, applying their expertise to events where required.

In addition they help with late-night pack-downs, they provide valuable feedback and ideas while shaping the vision for upcoming parties and events, sharing inspiration and bouncing ideas off one another to bring each celebration to life.
