CONTRACT TERMS
This contract outlines an agreement and includes all contractual obligations made between
Balloon Deck hereinafter referred to as “Balloon Deck”, “Team, “Artist”, “We”, or “Our” and
(Your Name) hereinafter referred to as “Client”, “You”, or “Your”.
BOOKINGS
Your booking date and service will be secured when the signed contract and deposit are received.
All remaining payments are to be paid at the time of the service.
Once final payment has been made, no refunds will be processed.
PAYMENT INFORMATION:

Payment information details will be provided on the quote and/or invoice.
Additional notes: No cheques or credit cards are accepted.
Receipts are available on request.
Deposit of 50% is required 14 days prior to the event.
All remaining payments are to be paid at the time of the service.
Once final payment has been made, there will be no refunds.
Cancellations
Any cancellation must be made by 12:00pm midday, 3 business days prior to your scheduled time or you will forfeit your deposit of services agreed upon in this contract.
Balloon Deck are not be responsible for any inclement weather, acts of God or other situation that may cancel or postpone your event.
Cancel before: 12:00pm midday, 3 business days
Example: If your event is on a Saturday or Sunday, cancellation will not be valid after 12:00pm midday the Wednesday before.
Service Location
Balloon Deck may require access to the location at least 1.5-2 hours prior to the scheduled event start time. This is necessary in order for the Artist and Balloon Deck team to organise and set up before the event begins.
Servicing indoor events only.
Power supply will be required and must be available for any balloon pump usage required.
Travel, Stairs and Elevators:
20km radius from 3037 is included in the quoted cost.
Please advise if there are any stairs.
If there are any elevators, please confirm the internal elevator dimensions for any prop hire delivery and pick-up.
Delays
The Balloon Deck staff will arrive onsite as specified by the Client, Balloon Deck cannot be held responsible for delays (or incomplete decor) if not allowed a reasonable amount of time to complete décor services as described in this agreement.
Décor Equipment
All reusable non balloon equipment, including but not limited to frame, lightning, poles, fabric & florals etc., are the property of Balloon Deck and must remain onsite for pick up at a specified time and date. The Clint is responsible for all losses due to theft, vandalism, misplacement or damage. In the even Balloon Deck’s equipment is damaged, misplaced or stolen, the Client agrees to be billed for the repair or replacement cost of the item(s). Bonds may apply when booking your service.
Material Guarantee
All material is guaranteed to be as specified by the manufacturer. If a supplier discontinues a product or a manufacture change its material type, Balloon Deck reserves the right to make any last-minute changes, including but not limited to substituting an item of like kind and quality.
Balloon Deck use professional equipment and material as intended for its particular purpose within all designs.
Photography
Photos and/or videos of our work may be taken for promotional use and advertising purposes. You agree to us taking and using such images as described and release any and all claims regarding use. The signed agreement serves as a release authorisation for such materials.
Confidentiality
All information provided by the Client shall be treated with requisite confidentiality and will only be available to the staff of Balloon Deck. Your personal details will not be made available to any other party without your express agreement.
Additional contractual agreements
DISPOSAL:
The client is responsible to breakdown and safely dispose of any balloons part of this service, unless a prior agreement has been made between Balloon Deck and the Client.
This does not apply where the artist is returning to collect prop hire.
- For the Balloon Deck staff to return to the venue to breakdown and safely dispose of any balloons, will incur a $40.00 fee between 8:00am to 8:00pm.
- For the Balloon deck staff to return to the venue to breakdown and safely dispose of any balloons, will incur a $100.00 fee outside of 8:00am to 8:00pm.
ACCIDENTS:
Balloon Deck is not responsible for accidents or injuries to our décor that is caused by mischief or mishandling by the client, guests or site staff. Please do not allow guests to touch, move or tamper with any prop hire due to any risk of any tripping and/or falling of guests. This includes any behaviour that may cause prop ire to fall on a guest, including children.
Please do not allow guests to put latex balloon into their mouths. Be aware that some children and adults may have an allergic reaction to latex. These groups of people should refrain from having any contact with the latex balloons.
Disclaimers & Signature
Balloon Deck reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately for any breach of terms and the contract will become void and all monies given are non-refundable.
This booking arrangement cannot be changed after the artist arrives for the appointment. By reading and agreeing, you agree to have your appointment scheduled under the Terms and Conditions of this contract.
